Is Jennifer Lopez Leaving American Idol?

Well, there's certainly doubt about whether Jennifer Lopez will be back for another year of American Idol.

Not sure if she's coming back

She told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres recently that she was unsure about renewing her contract.

"I don't know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really locks you down, which is nice the first year with the babies being three, but now they're getting more mobile, they're about the go to school... So I just don't know," J. Lo revealed.

Sure, US$12 million is nothing to sneeze at but sources close to the singer revealed to E! News that she had a lot on her plate and could decline doing a third year on Idol. Other than wanting to be with her children, the singer will also be going on a concert tour with Enrique Iglesias in July and August. At the moment, she is out promoting one of three movies she is involved in, What To Expect When You Are Expecting.

Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe was quick to tell TMZ that American Idol of course wanted her back.

Whether this is a ploy to get more money (Britney Spears is reportedly getting US$15million for The X Factor) remains to be seen.

In any case, her stint on Idol and career revival has Forbes magazine convinced that J. Lo is currently the most powerful celebrity in the world. Perhaps this will get her that raise if nothing else -- but will she stay on?

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson will guest on Glee next season, Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly announced recently.

Kate will join the show for eight episodes and SJP will also appear for multiple episodes, Reilly said. The season will also feature a "show within a show" as the Glee club members who have graduated move to New York City, he said.

Fox hopes Glee will have a resurgence in its next season, which will be its fourth, after it slipped in the ratings this season. Reuters

Stevie Wonder will not be a victim

Stevie Wonder's nephew has been arrested and charged with an extortion scheme against the singer, Los Angeles prosecutors said on Friday.

Alpha Lorenzo Walker, 38, was arrested on 2 May, along with another alleged conspirator, Tamara Eileen Diaz. The pair had threatened to reveal information they claimed would be embarrassing to the Superstition singer unless he met their demands, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office said.

Celebrity website TMZ.com, citing law enforcement sources, said the pair demanded US$5 million from Stevie and threatened to go to the media with a tale of incest. They later lowered the sum to US$10,000 and were arrested by undercover police posing as representatives of the musician.

The District Attorney's spokeswoman declined to comment on the nature or details of the alleged extortion plot.

Walker and Diaz have pleaded not guilty to extortion but are being held in jail awaiting a preliminary hearing next week that will determine whether there is enough evidence for a full trial. Reuters

Britney & Demi Lovato Confirmed as X Factor Judges

It�s now official. Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are to join the judging panel of The X Factor USA, it was recently confirmed.

Britney and Demi will join Simon Cowell and LA Reid on the show following the departures of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.

Brit said: "I couldn't be more excited to join The X Factor judging panel. I'm a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and LA better watch out!"

Demi added: "I'm so thrilled to join this legendary group of judges. To be able to spend each week with Simon, LA and Britney watching the best that America has to offer is truly a dream come true."

Simon said: "I'm absolutely delighted Britney and Demi are joining us. "Britney remains one of the biggest stars in the world, she's talented, fascinating -- and I believe she knows exactly how to spot The X Factor.

"Demi's had an amazing career in music, TV and film for someone her age. She's young, confident, and enthusiastic. I think it's really important that she speaks to our younger audience. The new panel will be dynamic and will work really well with the changes we are making to the show."

Brit has reportedly signed a US$15 million for one season deal. A handsome deal indeed. And I guess we�ll just have to wait and see whether Brit and Demi judge well. I mean, just because they may be good performers doesn�t mean they will be good judges. Like I said, we will just have to wait and see.

If you think you have seen the last of Lady Gaga�s meat dress, think again.

Looks like Gaga is so in love with her meat dress that she has revisited the idea. Gaga has had a second outfit made that looks like raw meat for her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour, following her famous or rather infamous flesh costume at the 2010 MTV VMAs.

"Photo from The Born This Way Ball Tokyo. Americano by by Terry Richardson," Gaga tweeted with a link to the image. The picture shows Gaga performing Americano during her recent concert in Tokyo, while carcasses of meat hang around her on stage. Ewwww!

Gaga recently confessed that she has been sick during her concerts in Asia as the routines and energy required for the shows are demanding. The 'Born This Way Ball' will continue in Taiwan at the Nangan World Trade Centre in Taipei on 17 May.

Gaga sure knows how to create a sensation even if it means rehashing her own idea.

Dancing Dog Wins Britain�s Got Talent!

Teen trainer Ashleigh Butler and her dancing dog, Pudsey, stole the show at Britain's Got Talent and walked off with the show�s top prize.

The adorable act, which judge Simon Cowell describes as his �favourite, ever!� beat out operatic duo Jonathan and Charlotte. �I adore both of you. You have got better and better as the competition has progressed and to do what you did in such a short time is a miracle,� Simon has reportedly said.

Ashleigh and Pudsey�s win marks the first time in the show�s six year history that the winner hasn�t been a singer or a dance troupe. Since the duo�s audition went viral on YouTube, Simon has been gushing about the clever crossbreed pooch that has been his favourite to win. British voters, clearly agreed with him and gave Ashleigh and Pudsey's routine to the theme tune for Mission Impossible their thumbs up.

Now GBP500,000 richer, Ashleigh and Pudsey are off to conquer Hollywood.

We�re pretty sure some celebrities justify being late for appointments with the rational, �They can�t possibly start without me.� And while this might be true it still doesn�t mean they should get away with not being punctual. After all that�s just a bit rude. To get their point across the producers of The Voice have decided to fine one of their biggest violators of punctuality � judge Christina Aguilera!

So late, so what

According to reports Christina is the most undisciplined judge when it comes to keeping time. She consistently comes two hours late to the set nearly every single day. For season three the execs resorted to imposing a fine every time she showed up late. But according to a source on Radaronline, �Whatever her fine is now doesn't bother her. She has so much money she probably doesn't notice.�

The source also revealed that, the show�s higher-ups want to raise the fine to a number that does bother her so she actually arrives on time. The other judges, Cee-Lo, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton reportedly were pissed at Christina�s diva behavior too. �They can't stand how late she is. They know she's a girl and she takes longer to get ready, but this is ridiculous,� the source said. �And when she gets to set she still has to go through hair and makeup.�
