Charlize gets it wrong again and again...

Poor Charlize Theron. Her choice of outfit for the Oscar is, once again, the topic of conversation among many people. And most have negative things to say about her Christian Dior strapless dress featuring two big rosettes!

South African designer Abigai Keats opined, "What is the point of those roses? Honestly, they look stupid. So many South African designers would [have been] honoured to dress her but instead she attends the Oscars in this? Why?'"

Yes, why indeed! The South African actress defended her dress, which was designed by John Galliano, by saying, "I just loved this dress."

A few years ago, Charlize also caused a stir when she turned up to the Oscars in a green dress, another John Galliano for Dior, with a humoungous bow sitting on one shoulder. The fashion critics lambaster her choice.

Perhaps Charlize should consider parting ways with Galliano... just saying.

Cameron Diaz Welcomes The Idea Of Working With Justin Timberlake

I've got no problems!

Looks like Hollywood has no qualms about working (or, in the case of James Cameron and Katryn Bigelow, sitting) together with an ex-flame.

Cameron Diaz is set to star with ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake in the new movie Bad Teacher. But instead of loathing the idea of working with JT, Cameron is actually excited about it.

Cameron spilled, "We're thrilled to have him. He's the best person for the job. He's going to be hilarious. He's clearly a very talented comedian, look at his Saturday Night Live (skits). He's fantastic; he's going to be so great. We just had our first day of shooting yesterday. And we just laughed all day. It's so wonderful, I'm so excited."

The Last Song

Miley has fallen in love. Who with? Liam Hemsworth, her Aussie co-star in her latest film, The Last Song.

What has Miley got to say about him? �He�s really tall. He definitely showed chivalry: I remember him opening the door for the director, and I was like, �Wow.��

Of course, Liam is also smitten by her. �Working with Miley was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be,� he reveals. �From the first time we read, it was like I had known her before.�

Let�s hope this goes better for her than her relationship with Justin Gaston.

The lady who tamed Simon?

Simon Cowell is known to put people in a tight spot. The tables were turned when Simon was put in a spot as Jay Leno asked the longtime bachelor about the large diamond ring his girlfriend Mezhgan Hussainy (American Idol makeup artiste) is sporting.

Since Mezhgan later joined the duo onstage, I guess Simon was forced to spill the beans. �Well, I do have somebody in my life now, Jay, yes. And I kinda made a decision this year to make somebody happy so that�s how I�it�s called giving back,� Simon said, comparing his deed to making a donation to charity. Oh, the arrogance of this Brit!

Simon said, �I bought her the ring in London� confirming that the wedding will take place �within the next 10 years� and Jay can �do the flowers� if not be the best man but he�s not sure if the wedding will take place in the U.K. or the U.S.

All I can say is: George Clooney, don�t rush into it. Take your time�

Oscars Hoopla

Congrats to the winners of the 82nd Academy Awards and to The Hurt Locker for bagging the coveted Best Movie win. Surprisingly, less than humble director James Cameron actually tipped The Hurt Locker for the win over his special effects epic Avatar. Bet he wished he hadn�t said anything.

James wasn�t the only one to make a correct prediction. George Clooney had bet all his assets that Jeff Bridges would take home the Best Actor over him. Wow, George is not only gorgeous, he�s clairvoyant.

Is that a knife in James' hand?

At the beginning of the awards show, co-hosts Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin had joked that Kathryn Bigelow was so pleased to be nominated along with ex-husband James for Best Director, that she sent him a beautiful gift basket � with a timer! After Kathryn won over James, we wonder if he will be sending her that Toyota.

The Oscars awards show was as expected, fabulous and rather surprising at times. After all, who would have guessed that current Razzie target Sandra Bullock would grab the Best Actress win from Meryl Streep and in the process make history for being the first star to win both awards? That Precious star Gabourey Sidibe actually turned down the chance to be Oprah Winfrey's date to the ceremony? That Invictus hunk Matt Damon is going to be staring in a film adaptation on the life of Liberace? And that Joel Madden played DJ for the night?

What a way to make history

What were equally entertaining to the Oscars were the rumours that had sprung up prior to the awards show. Some of the more interesting footnotes were the one where The Edge Of Darkness actor Mel Gibson reportedly told Radar Online that he wasn�t attending the ceremony but had planned on watching the broadcast instead at home and in the nude.

Gerard Butler had promised he would walk the red carpet dateless and he did. If he thought that would put an end to the rumours he was dating Jennifer Aniston, it didn�t work because now there is a renewed frenzy to find out what exactly is the deal between the two.

The Oscars have, once again proved that when it comes to delivering entertainment, Hollywood has got it in the bag. Now, before reading any further, be warned of the spoiler alert.

It seems us mere mortals were not the only ones reeling from the glare of stars on parade at the Oscars. Turns out stars too can be blinded by the light. And no one was more in awe at the Oscars than High School Musical heartthrob Zac Efron!

Yay! For Sam

According to reports, Zac turned fan on the red carpet after bumping into Avatar's Sam Worthington. Zac, it was said, couldn't resist cooing about the sci-fi movie on live TV after meeting the Aussie for the first time.

Zac shamelessly gushed to E!, �I saw it (Avatar) four times; I've seen you (Sam) in 3D, regular, HD - I've seen you in every 'D' possible... You are the man, dude. It's great to see you. To which a red-faced Sam jokingly replied, �That's the easiest $100 I've ever paid... It's all good.�
