He has a serious movie, which let’s him show off his acting chops, coming out and he is without a doubt good-looking. But Zac Efron is not convinced he is the new Brad Pitt just yet.
Zac Efron in Charlie St. Cloud
“Until I’ve achieved something... maybe in a couple of years then I deserve to be called that. Until then, I think I’m just Zac,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
Zac’s new movie Charlie St. Cloud – which is about a teenage boy getting over his brother’s death with a summer romance -- is very different from the peppy musicals he has done in the past.
And though he is carrying on a real-life romance with High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, Charlie St. Cloud features Zac’s first intense love scene.
“It was interesting. It wasn’t a typical romantic scene. There were different circumstances... it was in the middle of the forest. So it was pretty weird... I think it turned out great.”
Charlie St Cloud is scheduled to hit cinemas here 30 September. Watch the new Charlie St Cloud trailer below.
