Show of hands, please, if you think Keira Knightley looks anorexic. Say she’s anorexic and the Pirates Of The Caribbean star will sue you for discrediting her. Keira recently said she has no regrets about her decision to sue the Daily Mail after the British newspaper suggested she was anorexic.
The paper printed photos of a stick-thin Keira in a bikini and implied her frame had inspired a teenager, who had died from anorexia. Keira was appalled by the article, sued the newspaper and was awarded a settlement. She insists it was necessary for her to get tough. Keira explains, “It could potentially have ruined my career because if I had been anorexic, there is no way I would have been able to do a lot of the action movies that I do. People wouldn’t have hired me. When things are written that are trying to ruin my career, as that one (story) was, I obviously have to take that very seriously.”
But you gotta admit, Keira, you do look a little too thin most of the time. Get some meat on your bones and we’ll tell you you look healthily thin. |
