| Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star For Kim Kardashian? No Way! |
If you were thinking that everyone, it seems, in Hollywood is getting immortalized with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, think again. Apparently they don’t just give out those honoured accolades for nothing. Kim Kardashian, whose dreams of having a star of her own, has been shot down!
Wishful thinking
After a recent magazine interview where Kim professed, “I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So, of course I'm so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want. I would love to break that mold,” the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the Walk of Fame quickly, pulled the brakes on Kim’s little ambition.
In its statement the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce emphasized that there a certain criteria that need to be met before a person qualifies for a star. Those include, ‘receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars, in the category of television, live stage performance or motion pictures. They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.’
As far as we know, Kim hasn’t won any awards and as for her acting … do we really need to dignify that with a comment? So, it a no go for a Hollywood Walk Of Fame stamp for Kim.
