| Forbes Names Tom Cruise The Highest Paid Actor |

What a great way to celebrate his 50th birthday, don't you think?
Looks like Tom Cruise's divorce from Katie Holmes did little to damage his success as he was recently announced as Forbes' highest paid actor for the duration of May 2011 to May 2012.
The actor pocketed a whopping US$75 million thanks to the huge success of Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol, which took in more than US$700 million globally. It was reported that he was paid a handsome figure to star in an upcoming sci-fi film, Oblivion, which is expected to hit theaters April next year.
Tied for the runner-up spot were Leonardo DiCaprio and funnyman Adam Sandler who raked in US$37 million each. Leonardo’s earnings decreased after his film, J. Edgar fared poorly at the box office last year while Adam can thank the comedy Jack And Jill for an increase in his salary.
Nabbing the fourth spot was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson with US$36 million and Ben Stiller was placed fifth with US$33 million. Check out the list below to find out which other actors made the list.
