Hot on the heels of the critical and commercial phenomenon, Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, comes a film that promises to be bigger, better and yes, way campier! Ladies and gents, boys and girls, buckle your seatbelts and get ready for the TV blockbuster to challenge all TV blockbusters -- Mega Python vs. Gatoroid!!!
If you’re a connoisseur of epic animal-on-animal action flicks, you’ll know that there’s nothing quite as awesome as watching a huge @$$ CGI alligator battling a huge @$$ CGI python for control of the planet. And if you’re a fan of ’80s bubblegum pop, well, there’s even more reason to get excited because on top of ground-breaking CGI and amazing storyline, Syfy’s made-for-TV Mega Python vs. Gatoroid will also feature two icons from that era -- Debbie Gibson (the ’80s Britney Spears) and Tiffany (the ’80s Mandy Moore) -- in a mud wrestling cat-fight of epic proportions.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Debbie is set to play a sexy animal rights activist who releases exotic snakes back into the Everglades, while Tiffany has signed on to play a sexy park ranger bent on saving the Everglades’ gators.
Syfy (previous known as the Sci-Fi Channel) is responsible for the new millennium’s most innovative TV movies, among them the multiple award-winning Boa vs. Python and the commercial smash Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys!
And in case you were wondering, Debbie and Tiffany both claim to be excited about being involved in a TV movie that could be as important as, oh let’s say Avatar. Here’s what they have to say about it:
