Breaking Dawn Promises More Skin & Sex

It can’t be denied that the Twilight films have been rather coy when it comes to sex.  But it looks like Breaking Dawn will stay true to Stephenie Meyer's book, with especially racy scenes between leading lovers R. Patz and Kristen Stewart.

Sometimes when we touch...
Sometimes when we touch...

"You will see sex – Yes!" Breaking Dawn and Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told People mag recently: "The relationship [between Robert’s Edward and Kristen’s Bella] does go all the way in the book, so in the movie, it will as well. You are going to see more skin in Breaking Dawn than you did in the other films."

But don't expect any XXX antics. "Will it be pornographic? – That, I do not know," Rosenberg said. "I don't know if it has to be R-rated, but it has to be what the book is, which means more skin. ... I will definitely be writing more skin."

Twihards and Twilighters, is this getting your temperatures up?

I am a little shocked that this could be the first post on this website because i have never been first of anything, so im just saying what i feel about this post instead of commenting on other posts of other people. I am 13 and my mom is sometimes very strict about what i watch on tv and anything with sex scenes in it, well i could just say goodbye to that movie, and i am a big twilight fan I have done my room in twilight i just hope that this movie wont be to porne and that it wont be rated R cause if it is then i could say goodbye to this movie to. I am not the only person out there who arnt allowed to watch certaint things i have talked to about a millon peole about this and about 97 percent of them have the same problem i do we happen to have strict moms. so that is all i am going to say for now sorry this is so long.

But I'm pretty sure the scenes will be cut. So I think you still can watch.

Twilight book series was i think was based for "tweens" and teenagers. So "showing skin," probably won't be too over the top. the writers for the books; so I've been told, write in a tasteful manner.

I will be very disappointed if 'showing some skin' means that real twihards (tweens and teens) will not be able to see the movie. An R-rated film means that it will ruin a lot of people's day, completely alienating the majority of the consumer's of this fantastic series. Take care!

Remember in the book they were married when they went "all the way".

I am glad! I hope the show the sex scenes and the Nudity... That is what was in the book. They should keep it like the book. If your a real twilight fan u will agree.. I am sorry for the underage children. I feel like this will be an absaloute up for the franchise.

I agree with Emilee. It would be a shame for the tween and teen-aged population to not be able to see the last of the series' movies. Part of the appeal of "Twilight" and "New Moon' was the innocent love between the characters. I hope they continue this in the last 2 movies. Please keep them clean!

I just want to see most of what is in the book will be in the movie. All the parts with the characters make it interesrting to see it played out. The combanation on how they worked together vampire and wolf and the love they have for eachother. For the last book it should have the most meaning of this story that you are trying to tell. Hats off to all of you and you have all done such a great job. I love the books and i can still read it over again. A fan from Maui, Hawaii.

I really do hope they stick to the book. They have done so good so far with the other 3 movies can't stop now because of the "love" scenes. As for the young viewers if your parents have let you read the book then they should let you watch the movie for the book is in more detail.

My 7yr old loves the series and I have been nervous about how far movie makers will go with Breaking Dawn. In the book there is sex, but there is no details. I think the movie should follow this example and make it Tween friendly.

Diane and Emille, I am sorry. But if you are a TRUE twilight fan you would want it to be the best. In a couple of yrs you would go what the hell was I thinking. I could have wiated for it on dvd. Parents watch it first then they tell me to close my eyes during those scenes. If it is ruined which it probably wont be it will be all the whiney childerens falut.
