Tired of being Hannah Montana “What I am sure about is I’m going to rejoice and be happy to finally not have to be... well, to not be somebody I’m not exactly,” Miley Cyrus reveals to Parade magazine.
Why is she so happy about the end of Hannah Montana, a series that catapulted her to fame? “I’ve grown out of it,” she says. “When I was 12, I thought, ‘I want to be famous all the time! I want everybody to recognise me!’”
But now, she finds she has “to grit her teeth” when she wears the costumes of her alter ego. “I can’t breathe looking like that anymore,” she says.
She is also keen on having people see her as something more than just a product. “I am not a doll, and people want to treat me that way... I am older now. I have an opinion. I have my own taste.”
Hannah Montana is scheduled to end its run in the U.S. early 2011. Good luck with that Miley! |
