We are still together, can't you see?
Too bad for tabloid News Of The World. While there were multiple reports from multiple sources that Brangelina is no more, it is News Of The World that is being sued by the famous Hollywood couple over the front page story last month declaring the couple were splitting up after six years and as many children, and dividing their £205million joint fortune.
Brad and Angelina decided enough was enough and wrote to the paper to demand an apology for these “false and intrusive allegations.” However, the tabloid refused to retract the story, or apologise, according to Brangelina’s lawyers and so yesterday the actors decided to sue.
The couple "unequivocally" say that the story was false, and appear to be suing not for just for libel, but also for "misuse of private information", or privacy.
News Group, which publishes News Of The World, is owned by Rupert Murdoch – as is 20th Century Fox, which made Mr and Mrs Smith, the film that gave the setting for Brad and Angelina's blossoming love affair six years ago.
Brangie, should you guys be suing? Are you sure there’s no truth to the reports? How long can you keep it together? |
