| New Man Of New Moon |
Two guys, a girl and chaos!
Fresh from the New Moon screening (actually about 3 hours ago) organised by Twilighters Malaysia, Malaysia's leading Twilight fan club, I'm still thinking about the film. Firstly, those from Team Edward won't be disappointed with his sceentime as I had expected his role in this film to be limited. While Jacob's role was clearly more meaty (excuse the reference to his suddenly buff body), Edward had a (limited but) pivotal role. Really, really limited is Dakota Fanning's role. All I remember is her sparkly ruby red eyes.
Happy together forever?
Although I belong to Team Edward (don't ask me why), I find his character rather indecisive and a bit too fickle for my liking. He wants Bella, he doesn't want Bella, then he wants her again, yada yada yada. It is Jacob's unrelenting love for Bella that I find admirable. Of course it helps that in the initial scenes he takes off his shirt at the drop of a hat, revealing his rippling muscles. And as the story progresses, Jacob decides that less is more and cuts his hair and, ahem, couldn't even be bothered to wear a shirt, come rain or shine. But not to worry. I'm not switching camps. I'll stay faithful to Pale Face for now.
I like both Edward and Jacob but I don't like Bella. She is getting more annoying with each passing scene. I mean, can the girl make up her mind? Yes, I understand she is in a dilemma but she can be downright self-centered when she turns on her damsel-in-distress charm (more like harm!). No regard for Charlie her dad, Jacob or even Edward at times.

Still, I thought New Moon was better than Twilight in that there was more tension, more drama and oh, I like the Romeo & Juliet touch. But don't take my word for it. Go watch it, people! |

| I watched the preview screening, too! And YES, I think that New Moon is definitely MUCH better than Twilight! And YES, I love Edward and everything, but now I'm starting to like Jacob's character, too! I'm as fickle as Edward! But I'll still stick to Team Edward because I like Robert Pattinson. In the cinema (TGV Sunway Pyramid) , there were LOTS of giggles, most of them from Team Jacob people. What about your place, Nitha? |

| hey partypooper101, thanks 4 yr like-minded comment. I watched New Moon at GSC Pavillion but the crowd were split. Both Edward and Jacob received equally loud cheers, thanks to the very excited Twilighters Malaysia bunch, a few who came dressed as Jacob, Bella, Jasper, Alice and more! |

| I am sorry to say me and my friends just think New Moon is just not all that at all. Nitha, you have a point in a way that Bella is downright self-centred but also she is a whiny, snotty, ungrateful little brat who thinks the world revolves around her. That's not all, she is a stupid girl who cannot distinguish between true love and an abusive relationship. The thought of her pining for Edward after the break-up is just pathetic and low. As for Edward, he is nothing but an abusive, manipulative person behind the whole Prince Charming package. Being watched by him when one's asleep is just downright uncool, psychotic and stalkerish, not romantic. As for Jacob, for now he's the good friend in New Moon but we will have to see about this when Breaking Dawn comes out. |

| Thanks Nitha for the awesome review and simply by joining is (on Edward's side..lols). Yeah, we too agree that NM is much³ better than Twilight in a way because Chris tries as muhc as he can to stay true to the book and you can actually here quite a number of lines directly taken from the book as compared to Catherine's Twilight which is awesome...
Now, I wouldn't mind if he actually comes back to helm BD...

| yup,thank you for ur great review.....I do agree that New moon is much better than Twilight(besides the background music), n Jacob may be a really great friend in New Moon but I still can't fathom why people would switch team to team Jacob after watching it........ya...i know that a lot of people will said Taylor lautner is hot or whatsoever...but that did not make sense for a die-hard team edward girl to switch team......My devotion to Edward increases greatly after watching new moon....I love him more than ever because of his unconditional love for Bella...not for his looks |

| absolutely love it!!! i love Edward from the beginning as he thinks being a vampy has destroyed his soul & he doesnt want the same thing for Bella. Jacob is so sweet always protecting & waiting for Bella.
Well...Bella is just Bella. A girl in love with a cold one & is caught in dilemma. Guess this is why the books appeal to us kinda like Romes & Juliet except in 'Underworld'. Cant' wait for Eclipse!!! |

| i tink it's true when people say that bella is not a good role model for girls..i mean she's trying to tell us dat having a boyfriend is much more important than other thing..but i dun blame her..she's juz a fictional character...robert n kristen shud improve their acting skills coz it's not gud enuff....n lastly im on team edward..i love vampires!!!!!!!but i wud never be on team robert.i'd rather be on team taylor lautner...^^ |

| I cnt agree more. i think New Moon is better than Twilight. but i cnt wait for Breaking Dawn. Nut when i was in the movie theatre, there were 3 girls sitting beside me and my fren, and they were sceaming when Jacob toke of his shirt. And when Edward propose Bella, they were screaming again. But its still sooo nice. I feel like watching that show again!!!!! |
