| This is just an overkill. What is so good about a movie about a love triangle between a selfish female brat and two guys anyway? New Moon is not a real tale about vampires and it's not even a proper love story either. Vampires don't sparkle at all and werewolves only turn into wolves every month on a full moon not at anytime of the day. Edward is no dream guy, he is nothing but an abusive, calculative monster hiding behind the whole handsome, perfect Prince Charming mask. Bella is a just a weak bimbo and a snotty stupid girl who can't tell the difference between real love and an unhealthy, abusive relationship. What's more, she represents female de-empowerment where she is throwing away a normal life and a proper future after high school for someone who is unworthy of her. No wonder Bram Stoker is going to turn in his grave at any moment with all this Team Edward and Team Jacob nonsense. |
