“Do we see a movie in the horizon?”

If you’re a fan of the recently-cancelled TV show Jericho, it’s time to rejoice. No, the show is not coming back to the small screen.

It, however, might be heading for the big screen, according to the show’s stars Ashley Scott and Brad Beyer who also said they would be ever ready to sign on to the project. “Brad and I caught wind of a possible movie idea online the other day. It would be great if it happens,” Ashley said in an interview adding that the movie will allow the creator to end the show in a proper manner.

“We kind of feel like the show needs some closure, because it still feels kind of weird (that the show ended abruptly),” says Brad in a separate online interview.

No word if movie bosses will give the show a go ahead but according to industry insiders the show does have a huge fan base and some in the industry are pretty confident the movie will be a hit – ala The X-Files.
